Monday Evening Ladies's Bible Study Group

 Meets on Moday evening at 6:30pm, in the St. Anne room in the St Jude Center. 
 

Sunday Morning Bible Study Group

 Meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30am, in the St. James room of the St. Jude Center.

Theology Guild

This fall, a new group at St. Jude's is being formed, called the St. Jude's Theology Guild. It will meet to discuss books which serve to build up the "faith seeking understanding" of Catholics. The group will have two primary discussion facilitators: Dr. Charles Bellinger, a member of St. Jude's who is an Associate Professor of Theology and Ethics at Brite Divinity School, and Joshua Whitfield, who is the Director of Faith Formation and Education at St. Rita Catholic Community in Dallas. The group will meet every two weeks during fall 2010 and spring 2011. It will meet every other Thursday, from 7-9pm, starting Aug. 26. Each member of the group will be expected to have read approximately 100 pages in preparation for each meeting. The readings will be suitable for laypersons who have a serious interest in developing their historical, theological, and moral understanding.
